Suffolk University purchased an eleven-story office building at 101 Tremont Street for 30 million dollars and began converting it into a dormitory for up to 290 students. The ground-floor Beantown Pub will remain.
The project addresses a shortage of student housing near the downtown campus. University officials expect the building to open for the Fall 2026 semester.
