An inbound stretch of Storrow Drive and Soldiers Field Road was closed nightly through August for state tunnel repairs. The work affected Esplanade access routes.
Drivers were advised to use alternative routes during closure hours. State officials said the repairs were critical to preventing water infiltration in the tunnels.
